Professional Bio

Dr. Z was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She then graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Molecular Biology. Returning to Seattle, she attended the University of Washington School of Medicine with election to Alpha Omega Alpha. Her pediatric training was at Seattle Children’s Hospital and her dermatology training was at the Emory University School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology, serving as chief resident in her senior year, respectively.

As a triple board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Z enjoys seeing her beloved patients at Dermatology Associates of Georgia. She is a full-service dermatologist with specialization in pediatric, adult medical, and cosmetic dermatology, specifically facial rejuvenation. Of note, she is an 8-time consecutive recipient for Atlanta Top Doctor Recipient for 2019- 2026.

Proudly, Dr. Z is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at Emory School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology.

Dr. Z is a dermatology national and international key opinion leader. She has 20 years of clinical trial experience, serving as an investigator in over 30 clinical trials, as well as consulting as CEO and Founder of Pantones LLC, a Dermatology Company. She has >100 peer-reviewed paper/poster/article publications in the top dermatology journals.

Patient and collegial advocacy is at the heart of Dr. Z’s dermatological service, she is: 1) an American Academy of Dermatology Board of Advisor, also serving on the AAD Atopic Dermatitis Task Force; 2) 2026 President Georgia Society for Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery; 3) 2021 President of the Atlanta Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery Association; 4) Skin of Color Society member, serving as Co-Chair Global Council; 5) Society for Pediatric Dermatology, serving as Practice Management Chair, 6) Women’s Dermatological Society member.
