Professional Bio
Dr. DiAnne Davis is a board-certified fellowship-trained dermatologist and laser expert practicing in Dallas, TX. She specializes in acne and acne scars, non-invasive facial rejuvenation, skin of color, hair loss, and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. She is fellowship-trained in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery.
Dr. Davis is influential in helping to promote awareness of the unique features of a person's skin and hair and offers evidence-based advice from both a medical and cosmetic dermatologic viewpoint.
She is a graduate of Tuskegee University and The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Davis currently serves as the chair of the National Medical Association Dermatology Mentorship Committee which was established to help increase representation of African Americans in the field of dermatology. She also serves on advisory boards for Allergan Aesthetics, Galderma, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Davis’s passion for dermatology started when she suffered with acne as a young adult. She firsthand experienced the physical and emotional pain of having acne and acne scars. She has dedicated a portion of her practice to pioneering a comprehensive surgical approach to acne scars to help her patients look and feel their best. Dr. Davis has authored several journal articles and textbook chapters and has presented her work on acne scars at local, national, and international meetings.
She is the daughter of the late Fred Davis, Jr and Sherill Davis and a proud native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her interests outside of medicine include yoga, traveling, and dancing as she was previously an NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints football team.
She is very active in the Dallas community as a member of the Trinity (TX) Chapter of The Links, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
